Susan “Sunne” M. Hogan, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas.
Sunne chose to become a therapist because there was mental health and addiction issues in her family tree, and she wanted to part of the solution helping others who may have had experiences similar to those she lived through. She approaches her clients with deep empathy, and offers a warm, non-judgmental approach. Sunne considers it an honor to be a guide and support for those who are suffering from mental health challenges.
Sunne graduated from Texas Woman’s University with her MA in Counseling Psychology in 2005, and has been fully licensed since 2008. Sunne (pronounced “Sunny”) has worked with clients experiencing PTSD, depression, and anxiety, and currently sees patients via telehealth. Outside of counseling, she enjoys living with her beloved and their two cats. She loves to read, use their indoor rower, and enjoys running.
Susan accepts most insurance plans, and provides therapy relating to many conditions and circumstances including depression, anxiety, and PTSD. For patients who struggle to find success through traditional treatment methods, Heading also offers specialized treatments such as Intramuscular Ketamine, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, and Spravato in-clinic.
