Dr. Noorbaksh specializes in interventional psychiatry utilizing treatments outside of conventional psychotropic medications. He approaches treating psychiatric disorders holistically, taking into account past life experiences, medical comorbidities and treatment history. This also includes a multimodal approach to treatment: traditional pharmaceuticals, neuromodulation, interventional approaches such as Spravato and ketamine, nutrition, and a variety of psychotherapeutic interventions.

Dr. Noorbaksh holds an MD from the McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where he trained at the Texas Medical Center. He also holds a BS from the University of Texas at Austin in neuroscience. He completed his residency in psychiatry at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
