Amy Guerra, PMHNP is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner licensed in the state of Texas. She completed her undergraduate and graduate nursing education at The University of Texas Health Science Center. Her experience includes working in the Texas Medical Center in the areas of oncology, organ transplant, psychiatric inpatient hospitalization, crisis stabilization, and forensics. Amy is committed to working with the whole patient through medication management, dietary changes, stress management, physical movement and improved sleep practices using a multidisciplinary approach. She is passionate about destigmatizing mental health and improving access to care across cultures. She currently sees patients via telehealth. Outside of the office, Amy spends her time with family. In her free time, you can find her anywhere outdoors attending festivals, exercising, or traveling while exploring different cultures and food.

Amy accepts most insurance plans, and treats many mental health conditions including depression and anxiety.
