Laura Woods, LPC is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Texas. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Kansas State University, and her Master’s in counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. She has advanced training in TF-CBT and EMDR. Laura works in mental health because she wants to help individuals feel comfortable talking about their stress and challenges in a safe, nurturing environment free of judgment, and currently sees patients via telehealth. Outside of work, Laura’s interests include spending time with her two sons, attending bowling league, going to country concerts, and spontaneous road trips.

Laura accepts most insurance plans and provides therapy relating to conditions and circumstances including depression and stress. For patients who struggle to find success through traditional treatment methods, Heading also offers specialized treatments such as Intramuscular Ketamine, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, and Spravato in-clinic.
