Deborah Johnson-James, LCSW is a clinical social worker licensed in the states of Texas and Florida. Deborah has practiced social work for approximately 10 years in a Post Acute and Acute settings and in that time I have been able to assist patients towards wellness in emotion, mental, physical and spiritual well-being through her broad scope of practice as an advanced practitioner. She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cultural and Ethnic Issues, PTSD, Anxiety,  Solution Based Therapy, Oncology-End of Life Issues, and Christian Counseling, and currently sees patients via telehealth. 

Deborah accepts most insurance plans, and treats many mental health conditions including cultural and ethnic related conditions, post-traumatic stress disorder, and anxiety. For patients who struggle to find success through traditional treatment methods, Heading also offers specialized treatments such as Intramuscular Ketamine, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, and Spravato in-clinic.
